Sometimes all the no's is God's mercy to save us from the evil He speaks of in Jeremiah 2:13 where we are constantly going to "broken cisterns that CANNOT hold water" instead of running to him who is the Fountain that never runs dry! All of these answers and needs are ultimately met in intimate abiding in Christ Jesus. If we are looking to him as our ultimate True eternal life-giving source, he gives us the strength and the ability to pour out, out of the overflow of his love and fullness in us
Yes! This is truly what makes the world go round. Maybe like a carousel - the spinning gets to spinning way too fast so we get dizzy. Or maybe it is jerky - keeps stopping to let someone else on, so our ride is full of interruptions. Or maybe the carousel is turning so SLOW that it is boring and we'd rather hop off ourselves.
